This afternoon staff members from SAX LLP of Parsippany, NJ attended their annual Basic First Aid, CPR & AED training session.

With some new additions to class this year everyone enjoyed and learned a few new things. Statistical information was also provided for certain medical emergencies.

This year’s training also included a little “hands on training “. All enjoyed this added segment.

This past Wednesday we had fun in the sun playing

This past Wednesday we had fun in the sun playing softball against the Fort Lee Chamber of Commerce. We had lots of laughs, good food by all vendors who provided free samples from their business and we also networked while playing.

The Rutherford Chamber won by a score of 18-14 but Fort Lee played very well. We will be playing them again this coming Wednesday in Fort Lee. Come out and support everyone if you can. (Information will be posted )

Yesterday morning office staff members from Squan Communications / CSI in Fishkill, NY attended their annual Basic First Aid, CPR & AED recertification program.
.
With a few new staff members in attendance, we all had some great laughs and fun during the training session. Having a great group of students who not only want to learn but have fun doing it makes the classes go even smoother.
.
Several attendees learned some new things and others were refreshed on how to handle certain situations. We THANK all who attended and can’t wait to see everyone next year.

Monday evening members of the Moonachie Volunteer

Monday evening members of the Moonachie Volunteer Fire Department Moonachie, NJ attended their annual CPR & AED training session.
.
This year’s training session also included a “safety drill” for locating their AED units on each fire apparatus and bringing it to the patient in need. Everyone was able to locate an AED and bring it back within 45 seconds. **Every minute defibrillation is delayed, survival reduces by 10%**
.
Once again everyone enjoyed this year’s training session and felt more confident in rendering emergency care. We look forward to seeing everyone next year. Remain safe . 🚒

Recently members of the Secaucus Fire Department, Secaucus NJ attended their annual Bloodborne Pathogens & CPR / AED recertification session.

This year’s training session focused on Overdose emergencies, Choking emergencies, and the proper use of an AED.
